Eero Router Login

Are you tired of dealing with slow and unreliable internet? It’s time to take matters into your own hands and set up your own eero router! With the help of this guide, you’ll be well on your way to enjoying a fast and stable network connection. No more buffering or dropped calls – just smooth streaming and seamless browsing. So, let’s get started!

Step 1: Download the eero App

To begin your eero setup journey, you’ll need to download the free eero app. Simply head over to the Apple App Store or Google Play and search for “eero.” Install the app on your iOS or Android device. Please note that eero doesn’t support web browser setup, so make sure to have your mobile device ready.

Step 2: Create an eero Account or Log In

Once you have the app installed, it’s time to create an eero account or log in with your Amazon account. We recommend using your SAU email address, but any email will do. You’ll also be asked to provide your phone number for verification purposes. Follow the instructions in the app to create your account and verify your phone number.

Step 3: Set Up Your eero Gateway

Now it’s time to set up your eero gateway – the primary eero that establishes your network. The eero app will guide you through this process in just three easy steps:

  1. Unplug your old modem and router from power, including any wireless equipment connected to your modem.
  2. Connect your eero gateway device to your modem using the Ethernet cable provided. You can use either of the Ethernet ports on the back of your eero.
  3. Plug your eero gateway device into a power outlet and reconnect your modem to power. The eero device’s status light will start flashing white, indicating it’s ready for setup.

Step 4: Create Your eero Network

With your modem and gateway eero properly set up, it’s time to create your eero network. After tapping “Next” in the app, it will start searching for your new eero. Once detected, you’ll be prompted to select a location for your eero, which helps identify each eero on your network.

If requested, enter your eero’s serial number located on the bottom sticker. Then, choose a network name (SSID) and password for your devices to join the network. If you’re replacing an existing router, reusing your current SSID and password can save you the hassle of reconnecting devices.

Please note that running two networks with the same SSID can cause issues. If you have a modem/router combo device, enabling bridge mode is recommended. If not available, you can set up your network in double NAT mode.

Tap “Next,” and your eero network setup will be complete!

Step 5: Connect Devices to Your eero Network

The final step is to connect all your devices to your new eero network. Locate your eero network on each device, enter the network password you’ve set, and get connected. If you’re using the same SSID and password as your previous router, your devices should automatically reconnect. However, you may need to toggle WiFi or power cycle devices for them to recognize the new eero network.

If you encounter any trouble connecting specific devices, try disconnecting and reconnecting WiFi or rebooting the device. Most of the time, this resolves the issue and gets your device back online.
